In the mid to late '80's. I did some mini comics and I loved'em. It was fun, spontaneous, and a great creative outlet. My pal, George Erling, who was one of the founding fathers of the newave mini-comix revolution in the late '70's and '80's introduced me to the art form. He also recently told me that Fantagraphics Books is going to put out a collection of '80's mini comix, and I'm hoping to be a part of it. ReplyDeleteI received issue #6 1/2 of Dog Comix in the mail yesterday. I must say, it's top shelf. I have a bunch of odd ball comics and small edition prints from local artist, and this one's gonna fit right in. Your the only guy I know besides my self that loves to draw dogs. I wish you all the best with your mailers in 09. They say when times are good advertise. When times are bad, advertise more.
