And speakin' of beavers!.. here's th' cover for a mini I've been workin' on here and there when I have time.  Hope t'have it out in January or so.  I'll put my Boy's Life beaver gag in there as well.  When it's finished I'll let ya know how t'get it so save yer wooden nickels!..

boy's life january 2014 issue!

I sold a cartoon to Boy's life Magazine a while back and was delighted t'hear that it was finally gonna see print!  Check out the January 2014 issue in the jokes page.  I've wanted to get into this mag for years.  I read it as a kid/scout and my son made eagle scout a couple of years back so it holds a very memorable place in my heart.  Th' only problem is they printed my pencilled rough instead of the final inked version, but it's small on the page and still looks good!  Hopefully I can get sell some more gags to them soon!..

funny fruitz drink mix

hey, kids, let's get all sugared up for this post!..i was lookin' through the meet mr. product book (great character mascots and stuff) and saw th' funny face drink mixes from when i was a kid.  great designs! we weren't allowed to have soda when we were growing up but th' sugar-filled drink mixes were okay.  I started foolin' around in illustrator and came up with my version of these great fruity mascots.  pour some sugar in yer water an' enjoy!..

Labor Day Special!

Happy Labor Day to all my blogger pals!  I found this "framed piggie" sketch in a bunch of papers and will give it to th' first blogger that posts a comment.  Th' sketch is 8.5x11" on glossy premium copy paper.  I drew it with a #2 rapidograph right onto th' paper with no pencil scribbles underneath.  Lemme know if ya want yer name on it. The Happiest Show On Earth!

My pal, Adam Washburn, invited me to be a part of his great Color Ink Book 5th Anniversary show, The Happiest Show on Earth, a Disney inspired group show at WWA Gallery in Culver City, CA.  I was in Color Ink Book issue #14 (see my blog post way back on Feb. 3, 2012) and couldn't have been more happy or honored to be a part of this Disney inspired gallery show.  I have 3 pieces in the show and I will post them soon!

Asbury Park Comic Con 2

Hey Kids,
I had such a great time at last year's Asbury Park Comic Con that we're gonna do it again this year!  Go check out their website at http://asburyparkcon.tumblr.com/.
